Women Build Nations 2018

NABTUSaveDatev11[1]

When over 1,000 tradeswomen who work in every craft in the building and construction trades come together, it’s powerful. Women Building Nations is the largest conference of its type in the world.

Although the percentage of women who work with the tools remains far too low, Women Building Nations welcomes women into the trades and offers both new and experienced tradeswomen opportunities for networking, skill building, leadership development and organizing.

This national conference grew out of the annual Women Building California conference, sponsored by the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California since 2002.

Ironworker Educational Day

On Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., the Iron Workers (IW) and IMPACT have teamed up to bring you an exclusive ironworker only training event. This event will include women in labor history, mini-COMET, women's safety, leadership training and workers rights presented by a sister attorney in the trades. It also allows for our first caucus with General President Eric Dean and IW staff.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided at this event. Preregistering for the event allows our volunteers to have your WBN registration brought to you at the training, allowing you to devote your full attention to the ironworker educational day!
