Helping Union Families Affected by the Hurricanes

Aug 29, 2017

A Message from General President Eric Dean

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The devastation brought on by the hurricanes and flooding across the regions have left a number of our members and their families without their homes and personal belongings.  As a result, we have started receiving requests for disaster relief assistance from the Iron Workers Disaster Relief Fund.

The Iron Workers Disaster Relief Fund was established to provide direct aid, through their local unions, to members and their families affected by these tragedies.

And so, I am calling upon our members to do what ironworkers do best, to continue to look out for each other in every way we can. I trust you will give as generously as you possibly can. Checks should be made payable to the Iron Workers Disaster Relief Fund and mailed to the office of the general treasurer (address below) or via the secure PayPal link (below). Thank you in advance for your solidarity.

With best wishes and kind personal regards, I am

Fraternally yours,

Eric Dean, General President
